The modern world demands rapid adaptation to new realities, where technological cooperation becomes the driving force behind transformative change. It is precisely the synergy between experts, technology companies, academic communities, and government structures that creates the foundation for scaling innovations and achieving breakthrough results.

On 20 March, Beetless and our parent company DroneUA participated in a strategically important event aimed at fostering technological cooperation between Ukraine and the United States — the Launch Pad Tech Collaboration Event in Atlanta, USA.

The event, organized in partnership with Gateway85 Gwinnett CID, Georgia Tech, Partnership Gwinnett, and Peachtree Corners Curiosity Lab, brought together influential leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, and industry experts. Together, participants explored new opportunities for unmanned technologies as a driving force for development and their impact on supply chains, defense, and commercial sectors.

In the office of Eagle Rock Distributing Company, the main discussions included:

  • Prospects for the application of unmanned technologies in various industries.

  • Achievements in the field of aerial robotics and urban air mobility.

  • The role of R&D, universities, and startup accelerators in fostering innovation and technology partnerships.

  • Case studies on the successful adaptation of technologies, from industrial applications to public safety and emergency response.

  • Consideration of the role of municipal and industry collaboration in integrating unmanned solutions for infrastructure monitoring, logistics, and crisis management.

  • Best practices for repurposing and scaling technologies.Review of regulatory challenges and strategies for responsible drone deployment.

During his speech, Valerii Iakovenko, co-founder and managing partner of DroneUA, emphasized:

“Ukrainian business has become a symbol of resilience and determination. Combined with cutting-edge achievements in high-tech industries, it is an ideal strategic partner capable of influencing global markets. But fostering dialogue requires more than just innovation — it requires the involvement of partners, local governments, the academic community, and, most importantly, recognizing the value and importance of each stakeholder.

Today, we have witnessed the openness and prospects of cooperation between Ukrainian technology companies and our partners in the United States. Georgia’s innovation ecosystem, Gwinnett County’s favorable business environment, and the support of Gateway85 provide a solid foundation for Ukrainian companies to build strong partnerships and create new jobs. From agricultural innovations to the aerospace sector, our commitment to strengthening alliances and investing in local communities remains unwavering.”

During the event, Oleksandra Afanasieva presented the innovative BEETLESS development, which became a breakthrough in the market of safe pest control solutions.

Among the experts who shared their insights during the discussions were:

    • Daniel Duncan, Director of Operations, Georgia Department of Agriculture

    • Julie Golemi, Director, EI² Global, Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute

    • Volodymyr Gaplik, Co-founder, FarmFleet
