Beetless teams up with University of Florida to address psyllid pest challenges

Our BEETLESS team recently had a productive conversation with specialists from the University of Florida’s Citrus Research and Education Center, further reinforcing our commitment to tackling one of agriculture's most persistent challenges—psyllids. These pests are a major threat to citrus crops, especially in key regions like Florida, Texas, California, and even parts of Europe. Psyllids are notorious for transmitting diseases that can devastate citrus trees, causing significant economic losses for farmers and affecting the global citrus industry.

Managing psyllid populations has proven difficult due to their unpredictable behavior and the limited effectiveness of traditional control methods like insecticides. At BEETLESS, we are dedicated to filling this gap by developing innovative, eco-friendly solutions that offer more sustainable and effective pest control.

Our ongoing collaboration with academic institutions like the University of Florida plays a crucial role in this process. Working with leading researchers allows us to tap into the latest scientific insights and explore new approaches to pest management. This partnership not only enhances our R&D efforts but also helps ensure that our solutions are grounded in rigorous research and tailored to the real-world challenges faced by farmers.

By combining the expertise of academia with our cutting-edge technology, we believe we can make a meaningful impact on the agricultural industry, offering smarter, safer, and more efficient ways to manage pests like psyllids. Stay tuned as we continue to make strides in this exciting area of innovation.
